Sustera is a leading and trusted Nordic property lifecycle management company. They needed to completely revamp and rebrand their digital presence across three markets—global, Sweden, and Finland—aligning separate country sites into one user-centric and scalable system within an extremely tight timeline of two months.

Starting point

The previous websites faced challenges with information architecture, making it difficult for users to navigate effectively. Each market operated with separate sites that lacked consistency, and with an expanding service offering and the need to unify the various markets into a single scalable system, the design lacked flexibility. The editorial team also struggled to present heavy-content pages in a clean, visually appealing way while maintaining brand consistency across markets.

Approach

I led the restructuring, design, and implementation of three websites—global, Sweden, and Finland—with a one-month turnaround for implementation following a one-month redesign phase. This required facilitating workshops with stakeholders from both Finland and Sweden to align how we presented and organized services for each country's customers, while being mindful of implementation constraints, page organization, SEO, and information architecture.

The redesign featured a streamlined information architecture, reorganizing content and refining user journeys to ensure information is accessible and intuitive for all users across markets. I developed a scalable design system that supports the creation of future pages and seamless localization for new markets. Modular and responsive smart templates, along with flexible WordPress modules, enable editors to present dense content in a clean and structured manner, optimizing discoverability for both users and search engines. Additionally, the brand-aligned visual design and interactive elements enhance engagement while reinforcing Sustera's identity across all three markets.
